Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen will host RB Leipzig at the BayArena on Saturday afternoon for their first home match of the 2024-25 season.
The two sides, both set to participate in the newly-expanded Champions League, last faced each other in January when Leverkusen secured a 3-2 away win in the league.
After achieving an unbeaten league title and winning the German Cup last season—while narrowly missing a treble due to a Europa League final defeat—Bayer Leverkusen have started the new season strongly with victories in all three of their matches across competitions.
