The Azzurri need only a draw to advance to the last 16, while Croatia must secure a victory and rely on Spain, the group leaders, to prevent Albania from winning.
Despite a major setback on Wednesday, when a last-minute goal by Albania left them with just one point from two matches, Croatia still have a chance to move on to the knockout stages of the European Championship.
