Competing for a spot in the Euro 2024 knockout stage, the Czech Republic and Turkey will face off at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion on Wednesday evening.
Both teams aim to join Group F winners Portugal in the last 16. The Crescent-Stars need only to avoid defeat to secure second place, while the Czech side must win and hope Georgia does not pull off an upset.
The Czech Republic, led by their star striker Patrik Schick, who was pivotal in their run to the Euro 2020 quarter-finals, relied on him once again. Schick scored a crucial second-half equalizer last weekend to prevent Georgia from achieving their first major tournament victory.
