Nuri Sahin will debut as Borussia Dortmund’s manager in their Bundesliga opener against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday at Westfalenstadion.
Dortmund had a challenging domestic season in 2023-24, finishing fifth with 63 points, while Eintracht Frankfurt ended in sixth place with 47 points.
Sahin’s new role and his focus on an attacking style of play have renewed optimism at the club, especially after their recent disappointment in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on June 1.
