After a commanding performance throughout the domestic campaign, Inter’s coronation as Italian champions occurred during Monday’s Derby della Madonnina. They defeated long-standing rivals AC Milan to secure the Serie A title on their home ground, albeit designated as the official ‘away’ side at San Siro.
