Two former Eredivisie managers will face off in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United host Arne Slot’s Liverpool at Old Trafford.
After four encounters in the Dutch league, with Slot winning two and Ten Hag also securing two victories during his time at Ajax, the pair will now meet in the Premier League for the first time, just after the summer transfer window has closed.
Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend, despite kicking off their 2024-25 campaign with a 1-0 victory over Fulham at Old Trafford.
