Manchester City will aim to solidify their lead at the top of the Premier League when they visit St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.
The teams last met in March, where City claimed a 2-0 win in the FA Cup quarter-finals, thanks to a brace from Bernardo Silva.
Newcastle had collected 10 points from their first four Premier League games, though their performances were not always convincing. They suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, falling 3-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage.
