On Tuesday evening, one of the favorites for this summer’s European Championship, Portugal, will kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against the Czech Republic at Leipzig Stadium.
Portugal is widely regarded as a strong contender for the trophy in Germany, while the Czech Republic aims to advance from a group that also features Turkey and Georgia.
Portugal’s notable achievements include their famous victory at Euro 2016 and reaching the semi-finals on three other occasions, though they were eliminated in the last-16 stage of Euro 2020.
