Stuttgart will be aiming for their second win of the Bundesliga season when they face Nuri Sahin’s Borussia Dortmund at MHPArena on Sunday.
Despite finishing second in the league last season, the hosts have struggled early in this campaign, collecting just four points from a possible nine and currently sitting 11th. Meanwhile, Dortmund are in second place with seven points, having secured a 4-2 victory against Heidenheim in their last Bundesliga outing on September 13.
Stuttgart’s challenging start to the 2024-25 season included a penalty shootout loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the German Super Cup final on August 17, followed by a 3-1 league defeat to Freiburg on August 24.
