Both looking to bounce back from disappointing results in their Premier League openers, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton face off in North London on Saturday afternoon.
Tottenham could not capitalize on their early control and settled for a 1-1 draw against newly-promoted Leicester City on Monday, while Everton suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Despite being 37 years old, Jamie Vardy continues to be a thorn in the side of the Premier League’s Big Six. The Leicester City veteran, who wasn’t even expected to feature, punished Tottenham for their missed opportunities and poor defending at the King Power Stadium.
