Borussia Dortmund will aim for their second consecutive league win on Saturday as they head to Weserstadion to take on Werder Bremen.
Werder Bremen opened their 2024-25 Bundesliga campaign with a 2-2 draw against Augsburg on August 24, placing them eighth in the standings. Meanwhile, Dortmund sits in third place with three points after a 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on the same day.
In Bremen’s first match, Felix Agu gave them an early lead in the 12th minute, but Augsburg quickly responded with an equalizer four minutes later, courtesy of a long-range strike by Elvis Rexhbecaj.
