Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich will kick off their 2024-25 Bundesliga season on Sunday with an away match against Wolfsburg at the Volkswagen Arena.
Wolfsburg finished last season in 12th place, collecting 37 points from 34 matches, while Bayern Munich ended in third with 72 points, losing the title to Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen.
The home team will be looking to improve on their performance from the 2023-24 season, where they earned 12 points fewer than in the previous campaign.
